Eugene at Work

This Saturday, December 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

In Ireland, 82.3% of people between the age of 20 and 64 who do not have a disability have a job, only 49.7% of people with a disability have a job.

This means that half of the individuals with a disability, who are between 20 and 64 do not have a job.

Over the next few days, Avista will be highlighting some of the wonderful individuals and employers who have come together with the help of Avista’s Supported Employment team to support individuals explore the world of work and experience paid employment for the very first time.
