Moving into the Light

In keeping with the theme of Mental Health Awareness Week join Carmen Martinez and some of the Dublin Avista Service Creative Dancers Group who featured in the Video Moving Towards The Light. Carmen filmed and directed the Dublin team.
It is a video about Mental Health Awareness and Social Inclusion.
The video has a cast of dancers from Nigeria and a cast of dancers from the Dublin services. The project was inspired by a poem by Oludiya Theosophia. The poem’s message on mental health awareness and social inclusion was used by the two groups to create a dance movement sequence.
The group will speak about their experience of developing the video and the meaning behind it.
