Great News – DigiAcademy won the Inclusion in the Digital World Category of the European Digital Skills Awards held in July 2023. Avista are collaborators in this project.
A number of individuals throughout Avista have been involved in the development of the App by attending focus groups, using the App and then providing feedback during the different stages of the App’s development.
Amy Fulcher from T.E.E.S. Dublin demonstrates how to use Excel in the DigiAcademy App. Well done to Amy, her presentations on Excel are motivating, clear and easy to follow. Amy is a member of the Digi Academy Citizen Advisory Panel, her participation includes attending project meetings and filming educational content.
Digi-ID is a digital skills education project to support health and social inclusion for adults with intellectual disabilities. The goal of Digi-ID is to empower people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their health and social inclusion needs digitally, ensuring they are not left behind in the digital age.
