Dublin City Council is organizing events to celebrate Bike Week.
They are organizing the events with partners in Active Cities, Sports & Wellbeing Partnership, Cycling Ireland, Fingal County Council, the OPW, the Bike Hub, Dublin Cycling Campaign, and they’re funded through the Department of Transport.
They are fun inclusive events and everyone is welcome.
Sunday 21st May: Pedalpalooza Cycle Parade
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are invited to join the Pedalpalooza cycle parade for a fun, colourful, community cycle as part of Bike Week activities in Dublin city. This 5km cycle will be family-friendly and travel at a gentle pace, with music to sing along to en route. Starting in Capel Street the cycle parade will travel along the Liffey, through the Docklands, ending at Ringsend Park, where activities celebrating cycling will be taking place throughout the day for Pedalpalooza. Register to take part!

Pedalpalooza is DCC’s flagship event for Bike Week. It’s a family-friendly cycling for all bike festival. Pedalpalooza aims to celebrate and promote the benefits of cycling through a range of fun activities suitable for all ages and abilities. Come along to join us for children’s workshops, Bike DJ, a free safety check on your bike, a chance to try out a new type of bikes at our bike demonstrations, pedal-powered challenges, along with music, food and much more!
