Well Done to Avista’s Active Disability Services Awards Finalists

Avista was well represented at this year’s @activedisabilityireland awards, with 3 nominations for our Dublin and North Tipperary teams!

Rita Donovan from our Dublin service received the nomination for the Female Active Champion category.

St. Vincent’s Sports, Leisure and Recreational Programme (led by Carmen Martinez) was also nominated for Best Physical Activity Initiative.

Meanwhile, Avista’s partnership with @social_farming_ireland in Roscrea (led by Ann Sheppard from our North Tipperary team) received the nomination for the Best Outdoor Activity Initiative.

The room was full of inspirational supported individuals and support teams from across the country, who are creating active, community driven initiatives that strengthen inclusion within communities nationwide and we are delighted to be play our part.
