On Thursday June 29th Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Simon Harris has launched a €9 million fund for higher education institutions to improve access to higher education for students with an intellectual disability.
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are being asked for three-year proposals on how they can improve access and enhance course provision for students with intellectual disabilities.
