Update – Avista Right to Vote Roadshow

“A democracy works best when all voices are heard and represented at the decision-making table”

The first ever Avista, Right to Vote Roadshow took place from the Monday 22nd of April – Wednesday 8th of May.
Lila, Eve and Claire visted Avista services across Dublin, Limerick and Roscrea. During the roadshow 101 people registered to vote. The upcoming vote is the start of active citizenship for over 100 more supported individuals across Avista.

There were many meaningful conversations ranging from ‘why did we not do this before?’ to ‘how can we as staff facilitate this without influencing votes.’
